About the Role:
We are seeking PRN and Part-Time Consulting Dietitians who are passionate about providing clinical care, committed to collaboration, and eager to grow within the healthcare community. Whether you’re newly credentialed or an experienced RDN, we offer training and mentorship to support your development in long-term care settings.
As a Consulting Dietitian at NTE, you will:
Conduct clinical assessments and provide individualized medical nutrition therapy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident wellness
Make appropriate dietary recommendations and document all interventions
Participate in quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) activities
Review food/nutrition service operations for compliance and best practices
Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and dietary protocols
Contribute to the overall care planning and regulatory compliance in facilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics from an accredited university
Current RDN credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
New RDs and RD-eligible candidates welcome—must obtain RDN credential within 180 days of hire
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
