Nutrition Therapy Essentials (NTE) serves as an independent preceptor and training support provider for students enrolled in a CDM program offered by a third-party course provider.
The course provider is solely responsible for the academic program, including curriculum, instruction, enrollment, and tuition. NTE provides preceptor guidance and supervised support to assist students through their CDM program and in preparing to sit for the examination.
Students are generally given up to one year by the educational institution to complete the course. All academic instruction and materials are provided by the course provider, not NTE.
Throughout the program, students participate in weekly online meetings with a Registered Dietitian (RD) preceptor to support learning and connect coursework to practical application.
Students pay:
Tuition and academic fees directly to the course provider (not included in this purchase).
A preceptorship fee to NTE, which covers:
Preceptor oversight
Scheduled supervised learning
